you ever been surfing across the internet and hit a huge flashy banner that says "we have detected that there may be spyware on YOUR computer! click here for more details!"
man. how annoying. chances are, if you visit that site, they're either going to send you some virus that they will "remove for some amount of money," or they are going to make you download some sort of spyware that will keep popping up pestering windows until you are forced to somehow remove it.
Ads suck. I don't care what anyone says, people who put ads on their sites to make more money are sellouts, even if they do it only to cover the cost of the site.
