Tracy and Lora came down to Norman last night, and I hung out with Tracy for a while. I cooked dinner for her, Ben, Ben's cousin, Amanda, and Apoorva. (I think that's how I spell her name?)
I cooked Shahi Murgh, and I think it all went well. It was fun to hang out.

When I went to bed, I had the strangest and most vivid dreams I have had in a while. weird, no point dreams. the first one that I remember very clearly had to do with exploring dungeons with bookshelves and hidden passages and everything. Ghosts, magic, the works. shoot, even a tiny device that shot bone spears.

the second was stranger, I suppose. terraforming mars, claiming it for myself, and then getting captured by pirates and locked in the dungeon of their ship. barbed-wire handcuffs and chains, talk about painful.
I escaped that one with the help of another person who had been locked up, and I strangled a tremendously fat person who had me locked up with chains. then I woke up. they weren't done being strangled, and I don't even know if I got away. shoot.

I watched Eternal Sunshine again tonight.... It really is one of the best movies I've seen in a while.

Sophie cut the underside of my wrist at an angle. It's kinda painful.

Work is getting better, Most of the people at Albertson's really like me, and I like most of them a lot, too.

My family is going to Louisiana tommorow. they wanted me to watch the dogs for them, on occasion.

I took a five hour nap, and I don't know if I can go back to sleep, yet. But I'm going to try.

man, does she look annoyed. I watched Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless mind the other day, and this reminds me of Carrey's qoute about how awsome sink-baths are. Sophie doesn't share the enthusiasm, though.

I finally got some (decent) pictures snapped with that digital camera of amanda's. meh, not totally awsome, but DECENT.

life lessons

I learned an important life lesson today:

you just can't look like a badass with an albertson's apron on, even if you ARE wearing cool sunglasses.
